Had Protected Intercourse, No Condom Breakage. Late Period. Reason For Late Period?

Hi I'm 18 and I've recently had my first time protected. After the activity I immediately began to feel paranoid about the thought of conception. The condom did not break or have any faults to it and it stayed on the whole time but my cycle is delayed. I don't know if its paranoia or not that's causing it to run late but I need help.

The fact that you had protected sex and the condom didnt break are both good news for you, cause when having unprotected sex, there is always a chance to get pregnant.
Now the reason your period is late this time round could simply be because you've been stressed. Emotions and lifestyle changes can have an impact on a persons' period, causing them to be early or late.
As such dont worry so much, you should be okay. But if you are still worried take a home pregnancy test, cheap and easy way to find out for sure. And consider going on the pill, if you take those regularly chances of unwanted pregnancies are super low.
