Had Skin Rash, Few Spots That Was Deep But Not Painful. Have SLE, Did Not Take Medicine. Suggest?
I had a very strange skin rash a few weeks ago when I was away on holiday: there were only a few spots randomly spread: one between my toes, one on the back of my hand, one between my buttock cheeks, a couple on my back. There weren't itchy or painful, but they were blistered and in particular the one between the toes and butt cheeks were really deep. My great niece (18th months old) developed a similar rash at the same time. The rash lasted for about three-4 weeks. We went to see the Dr but she did not know. The gave the antibiotic to the little one, but I did not take anything. I have an SLE so I'm very cautious regarding the medication. The rash is gone now but it remained a mystery. Any idea what could cause this rash?
Since you have SLE it could be caused by disease itself. I would advise you to consult your rheumatologist for this.
