Had Unprotected Sex. Stomach Pain, Belching, Burning Sensation. What Is Wrong?

Hello Doctor,

I am having cramps in my stomach as i do have before my periods. As we had unprotected sex, i am expecting pregnancy. there are some 2 or 3 days left for my next period to come. Am observing the cramping as i get before my periods, But i have read in some articles that there can be cramps like menstural cramps in pregnancy also. And even am having continuous belching and burning sensation in stomach. please clarify on this.

Hello,

Unprotected sex during fertile days has high chance of conception. Other days have low risk.

Abdominal cramp may be seen prior to commencement of period and in early weeks of pregnancy.

Therefore, you must undergo one home pregnancy test immediately after missed period and repeat the test after 7 days to confirm pregnancy. Good luck.
