Has Shaky Feeling In Hands. What Could It Be?

Hi, my wife has been experiencing what she defines as a "shaky feeling" in both of her hands. Although she is not visibly shaking, it feels almost like a twitchy response. She is a otherwise healthy 38 year old. She describes the feeling, when it occurs as the feeling you get right after a close call with an accident or the feeling you get when someone startles you. Do you have any idea what this might be?
