Have A Bruise On The Side Of The Foot

I have a bruise on the side of my left foot on the inner part near my arch. There are, what appears to be, air bubbles on each side of the bruise. It is very tender to the touch. When I squeeze the area, the air bubbles protrude and look like a small balloon. What is this?
