Have Bad Breath. Late Period. Safe To Use Clarinase And Metrolag During Pregnancy?
hi, i used to have bad breath since im 14 i went to many dentails and ent doctors and didnt find cure i read about clarinase klacid xl and metrolag in arabic website im using it since one week and bb off still didnt check but my period is late 2 days my question is it save to use it during pregnancy or i hv to stop and if there is replacement thanks shama
Clarithromycin the salt in Clarinase Klacid is an antibiotic and metronidazole in Metrolag is an anti-protzoal and also effective in anaerobic bacterial infection. These medicines do not delay the onset of periods. It is best to avoid medicines in the first trimester of pregnancy unless it is absolutely indicated.
Taking these two medicines for bad breath is not a proper indication and I would suggest that you should not take them. Rather you should rinse your mouth frequently. You can use Listerine or even salt water.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you all the best.
