Have Bleeding With Clots, Cramps. What Is Happening?
I am 19 years old and have had a regular period (exactly ever 27-29 days) since I was 12. I am due to get my period in 13 days, but tonight my boyfriend fingered me and there was some blood. At first I thought he had scratched me because the blood looked like blood from a cut, which is usually more red than the blood from my period, but on closer inspection it looked somewhat clot-y the way my period usually does. I am PMSing and have felt slight cramps for a day and a half so i thought i may have just gotten it early, but two hours later (without a tampon or pad) there was no trace of any blood. What is happening?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The irregular and heavy bleeding that you are having is likely to be due to a hormonal imbalance. This needs a hormonal treatment and medicines like tranexaemic acid to stop the bleeding. Do consult a gynecologist for proper treatment.
