Have Colitis And Taking Hydrocortisone Enema, Altace. Sharp Head Pain. How To Overcome This?

I have colitis and I am taking a Hydrocortizone enema nightly. My blood pressure is gone up to 158/103 tonight. I do have sharp pains shooting through my head sometimes. I have not had a blood pressure problem for a long time until now. I have been taking this medication for over 2 months now. I do take 5 mils, of Altace. What should I do??????

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Contributing factor to flaring of blood pressure could be steroid in your enema. Decreasing the quantity of salt in diet and reducing dose and frequency of enema if your colitis is under control may help normalize the blood pressure. I suggest you to discuss it with your treating physician

Take care
