Have Eczema Rashes On Neck. Will Calosoft Calamine Relieve From The Burning Sensation?

2.6 year old has eczema rashes on his neck and is cranky. Will calosoft calamine relieve him from the burning sensation? I did apply a little ice pack on the affected area. Please advise. P.S - We live in a hot and humid city and we do make it a point to air him out and turn the air conditioning on in the car, at home.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,

Yes you can apply calamine lotion to sooth the rash. Give an anti allergic syrup to relieve the itching.
Also moisturize the area well, it will also calm down the itching.
If there is any other symptom like fever associated, do see a dermatologist as soon as possible to rule out viral rash.
