Have Infected Zits, Boils, Leave Holes On Skin, Itching, Excessively On Shoulder And Stomach. Are They Contagious?

Hi I'm a 25 year old mother who recently over the past year or two have started getting infected zits? Or what some would call boils, I'm random spots on the body, when they pop they leave a hole in my skin sometimes I have to pop them to relive the pain witch makes them worse , I've gotten them on my shoulder ,leg, stomach , and twice on the face they are very painful and filled with puss or sometimes a very hard white puss looking ball? They start out as small zits but progress to these painful things , why have I just recently started getting these and how do I stop them????? My 3 year old baby girl now has one on her back and butt and they are very red and swollen! Are these contagious ? I just got over one on my leg and now she has those 2 on her body!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

You and your daughter both may be having impetigo contagiosa.

It is a bacterial infection caused by staphylococci.

It is a contagious disease.

Take antibiotics for 2 weeks with anti inflammatory drugs.

Apply antibiotic cream.

Take immunobusters.

Blood may be tested to rule out DM,HIV and anaemia or other internal diseases.

Accordingly, you daughter may be treated.

You consult dermatologist.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks
