Have Irregular Periods. Had Polyp Removal Surgery. Have Spotty Bleeding. Polyps Recurrence?
Hello, my question concerns uterine polyps. I have had them removed twice already. I'm 58 yr old and going through the change. I haven't had a regular period in the last 6 yr. I had the second polyp removal surgery about 6 years ago. I'm having spotty bleeding at least 6-8 times a year. Is it likely that these polyps are back again. Could this be serious.
Hi, it appears that you have some doubtfull changes in the uterus, they could be polyps, fibroids, or malignancy. You may need to have C.T.scan for complete diagnosis. So i advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
you have not mentioned whether it was a uterine polyp or a cervical polyp.and whether HPE test was done or not.if not and if it is due to an endometrial polyp then i will suggest you to go for an transvaginal usg and if endometrium is more than 4 mm in thicknessthan go for diagnostic dilatation and currettage to rule out endometrial cancer.consult ur doctor asap.
