Have Joint Pain, Allergies. Relief With Prednisone, Painkillers. How Long To Continue? Any Side Effects?

I am seventy- three years oId, recently I was prescribed prednisone plus a basic pain medication, and I haven't felt this good in years. My joint pain was gone my allergies were better; I felt twenty tears younger. My question is, if this medication is prescribed for mild joint pain, what ever the dosage, how long would it take before the unfavorable side affects would manifest themselves? Even if it killed me at eighty years of age what difference would it make if one felt good up to that point?

Sir, the question is not, that how long you can live, but how healthy you could live, if you are taking the Prednisone tab then do not stop it abruptly, you will have to tapered the dose gradually, otherwise the withdrawal symptoms will harsh you, please discus it with the doctor who prescribed this medicine to you he will tapered the dose according to the wight of tab, (Milligram) and do not worry you are not going to die due side effects of this drug, take good care of your self Have a good day.
