Have Leg Cramps, Low Ferritin. Using Tramadol For Osteoarthritis. Any Suggestions?
I have leg cramps, and have tested low ferritin (25, where 50 was normal), 66 year old female, use tramadol daily for osterarthritis for more than 10 years. One possibility suggested is restless leg. I have been prescribed an iron suppliement. My sleep is still disturbed by leg cramps, relieved by a hot soak bath, or ibuprofen.. Any suggestions?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The leg cramps that you are having could be related to the iron deficiency or a vitamin E deficiency. You need to start with the adequate supplements and see if the symptoms improve. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
