Have Lower Abdominal Pains. Dark Blood Came Out Of Vagina. Bad Cramps. Had Fibroid Tumors.Suggestions?

I experienced some really bad lower abdominal mains similar to minor labor pains, dark blood eventually came out of vaginal running down my leg. Shortly after that I felt a gush so I assumed it was my period and I was having really bad cramps. I went to get in the shower and something fleshy came out of onto the floor. It was not a blood clot because it was more yellowish fleshy with dark blood mixed in. I went to emergency and they told me I had Fibroids tumors and that was it. I asked what came out they told me old blood but it was not blood...but it did have blood on it. ( I was not pregnant). Could it have been a tumor if so what would make it come out?

Hi,
According to your symptoms and your history it appears that you may have shed some necrotic material from the fibroid tumors and it usually happens when they are sub-endothelial or cervical with polypoid formation; as the blood supply to the tip of the fibroid gets reduced necrosis may start. Anyway, you should get a complete evaluation done by a specialist to decide further management. Abnormal blood loss also is a consequence of the symptom complex. Hope your query is answered.
