Have Pain In Groin, Suspected From Using Abductor But No Help. No Lump But Pain. Treatment?
i have a pain in the right side of my groin for several months. I thought it might be from using the adductor, abductor machine in the gyn, but I stopped using it and the pain has not stopped. It hurts to go upstairs or a steep incline. I ride a bicycle regularly and noticed that the seat falls on the right side of my groin more than the left. I do not feel any lumps in the area, but wonder if it is a hernia and what kind of doctor would test or treat this.?
If you suspect a inguinal or femoral hernia, you must consult a general surgeon and get clinically examined. There is impulse felt in the groin area after coughing if it is a hernia. The hernia can also be felt on increasing the pressure inside the abdomen. You must also watch the other side to rule out any bilateral hernia.
Hope this helps
