Have Problem With The Stomach And Intestines After Eating. No Medication Or Test. Can This Be A Food Poison?

last evening, two hours after eating shell fish, clams, shrimp, lobster, I became violently ill in the stomach and intestines with explosions and diarrhea which continued for approx. 24 hours. After which I was left head pounding, exhausted still with angry digestive system. Does this sound like food poisoning or stomach flu?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

After having sea food you are suffering form intestinal problem, This may be due to food poisoning or allergy. Take plenty of fluid, ORS pack, anti spasmodic drug like dicyclomine and get complete hemogram, AEC and stool examination and consult your doctor once for examination and management.

Hi, it is called food poisoning,means that some of the foods you ate was contaminated, so your intestines are infected, i advise you to consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment. If dehydration is there you might need to have infusion of fluids. thank you.
