Have Red Raw Looking Like Itchy Rash Between Leg And Groin Area. Treating With Oregnol And Lotrimin Helps

Hello Dr. Maybe you can inform me..I hav a red raw looking rash about the size of a nickel on right side between leg and groin area and another on shaft and a third on testicle all on surface of skin. I suspect jock itch and hav been treating with Oreganol P-73 Super Strength Oil , under tongue. Also Lotrimin AF..topical cream...I have had this conditionfor about 6-8 days now..Its very itchy and I spend a lot of time at the gym and pool,I have since stopped going to gym...This condition is starting to improve slightly....What are your thoughts?

Hi,
After reading your query I can make the possiilbty of Tinea or fungal infection. This is more common due hot humid climate or due to moisture at tlocal area.
You can apply any good anti-fungal cream containing clotrimazole or setaconazole. You can take anti-fungal tablet like fluconazole 150 mg and if itching is presnet then can take tablet loratadine.
