Hi Yetunde!
welcome to HCM!
Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths of the uterus developing from the smooth muscular tissue of the uterus. The growth patterns of uterine fibroids vary — they may grow slowly or rapidly, or they may remain the same size. Subserosal fibroids are the fibroids that project to the outside of the uterus.
As many as 3 out of 4 women have uterine fibroids sometime during their lives, but most are unaware of them because they often cause no symptoms.
I think if you have a single small fibroid then you dont need to do anything now but if it grows big and gives you more problems then surgery may be required.
hope this will help you!
Take care!
