Having Bruises Above Hip Bones, Hurts On Pressing. What Might Have Caused It?
I woke up with two bruises - both the size of a 50 cent piece - both right above hip bones - one at is on the right and the other on the left, they re kind of symmetrical to each other.They only hurt when i gently press on them, what might have caused it?

The most common cause of this is Gout....i.e. elevated blood uric acid levels.
Did you have a night out at a party and have drinks(alcohol)....? This is a precipitating factor.
Get you fasting blood uric acid levels and CRP titre levels evaluated.
Get them evaluated by an orthopedician and proceed accordingly
