Silly as it may sound, I was pulling Rice Krispie treats that were old and stuck in a dish. I felt a little twinge but over the next two days the middle of my hand hurts like crazy, especially when touched, the sharp pain when not touched occurs when I try to stretch my fingers back, from the base of my middle finger down to my wrist, but it lingers without doing anything. I may have pulled a tendon, but nothing like this has ever happened, especially considering the possible cause. What is the best and safest way to relieve the pain, and exercise for recovery.
