Hcg Injection For Weight Loss. Health Risks?
hi my name is stephanie i have been taking hcg injections for weight loss with very good results, dieting, and exercising 3-4 x a week. I am 5'9" 193 lbs, trying to reach goal weight of 160 lbs. Are there any serious health risks, specifically dvt or blood clots? I'm nervous because it is a hormone, but also know the risks of being overweight,I'm 29 years old have two children, my youngest child is 2. Alot of the weight gain was a result of my pregnancies.

Hello,
HCG's hematological side effect is arterial thromboembolism. Formation of blood clot which may cause Deep vein thrombosis.
So any pain and swelling of the limbs is indicative of DVT and need immediate medical intervention.
