General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Hiatal hernia (Diaphragmatic Hernia) is usually nothing life threatening and most of the patients can leave without any surgery. This condition is caused by a hole in the diaphragm through which stomach can get to the chest. Usually the hole is quite small and only part of the stomach is present in the chest.

If she has any symptoms like chest burning, acid reflux, nausea, first of all she should start with diet change. She should avoid fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol, coffee, chocolate, orange juices. If this wont ease the symptoms, medicines like Omeprasole 20 mg should be started.
If this also wont help, surgery should be considered.

Hemorrhoids are usually caused by constipation, bad diet. So avoiding constipation is a first thing she should do. TO do that, fiber rich products should be added to her diet. She should also consult a surgeon. Colonosocpy might be necessary.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
