Heavier Periods With Clots And Clear Discharge Before And After Periods. What Could This Be?

I have been having very heavy periods, heavier than normal over the last 5-6 months. Every month they contain large clots. I have also had clear discharge before and after my periods and more recently after using the toilet. I have also put on a stone or so over the last few months.

Hello,your history is incomplete, you did not mention about your age, wheather you have any medical disorders like thyroid. ...You need to consult your gynaecologist, a detail history and examination may be required.....A thyroid profile may be needed if you haven't had a thyroid test done before.....Discharge before and after menustration is physiological unless it is associated with fowl smell or itching...In case of heavy periods you may be prescribed antifibrinolytics like tranaxemic acid from your gynaecologist. ....Heavy bleeding has to be corrected as it may decrease your haemoglobin value. ...hope i was helpful to you. .
