High Pressure Burps, Heartburn. Could High Burping Pressure Indicate Any Lung Problem ?

do I have a hietus hernia or a partially collapsed lung? my main complain is burping very high pressure burps. a bit of heart burn but very rarly. Could burping high pressure be an indication of any type of lung problem. or is this simply hyperventilation due to panic attacks? I do have anxiety but I feel perfectly calm right now yet there is enormous pressure around my solar plexis and I am burping a severe amount of air.. the air feels stuck inside my and I am bloated.

hi,
thank you for your query.

Belching is generally caused by swallowing air when eating or drinking and subsequently expelling (or inhaling) it, so in this case the expelled gas is mainly a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen.

Belching combined with other symptoms such as dyspepsia, nausea and heartburn may be a sign of an ulcer or hiatal hernia, and should be reviewed by a physician.

Other causes of belching: food allergy, gallbladder problems, acid reflux disease, H. pylori, and gastritis.

some home remedies include-
-Avoid the foods that affect you most.If dairy products are a problem, try low-lactose or lactose-free varieties.

-Eat fewer fatty foods. Fat slows digestion, giving food more time to ferment.
Temporarily cut back on high-fiber foods. Fiber aids digestion, but many high-fiber foods are also great gas producers.

-Eat slowly. Try to make meals relaxed occasions. Eating when you're stressed or on the run can interfere with digestion.

-Get moving. It may help to take a short walk after eating.

-Try an over-the-counter remedy. Products such as Lactaid or Dairy Ease can help digest lactose.

thank you,
wishing you good health
