Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hi,

The diarrhea with mucus and blood is indicative for dysenteria (bacterial infection of the intestines).

I suggest to send him immediately to the ER to get proper treatment and to run further analysis including:
- abdominal ultrasound
- culture of stool for bacteria/candida
- examination of stool for ova/parasites

Again, please send him to ER as soon as possible for further evaluation and proper treatment.
