How Can Asocial Behaviour In A Child Be Dealt With?

hi.

My son is 5 years old. He's single child. He's a very bright boy but for some reason at school all changes. He doesn't seem to be able to process things, understand, he doesn't socialise, all opposite from home, where is very sociable with my guests, friends, and very bright. why is that?

I work very hard with him at home, i make sure he eats well, i keep his mind always doing something like puzzles, computer games etc, and he is fine but as soon as he goes to school it's like he doesn't listen to the teacher, and needs one to one attention.

Hi, Thanks for asking. In my opinion it could be better to get his behavioural analysis by a school counsellor as to why the behaviour is occurring in the school and what is maintaining this behaviour. Behavioural analysis consists of following things.
1. What happens just before the behaviour, when
2. Behaviour
3. Consequences of the behaviour which maintains this behaviour.
Playing social games with him and other children might help at school. Also rewarding him for his good behaviour at school might increase the occurrence of good behaviour.
I hope i have helped you.
