How Can Bedwetting In A Child Who Has Passed The Age Be Treated?

Good evening, any suggestions for tx of 10 yr old female with Hx of wetting herself during the day, soiling herself about twice a month, and more recently over past 2 months she has begun masturbating. She is currently seeing psych for hoarding. No Hx of abuse. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Masturbation is common in children of that age.
Ignore and behave as if you have not noticed.
Regarding bed wetting rule out UTI and Juvenile diabetes.
If not you may use Imipramine hydrochloride daily for 4-6 weeks.
If you do not record any change after 3-6 months consult Psychiatrist.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
