How Can Diarrhea Be Treated While On Levothyroxine?

I am a 67 yo Caucasian male with no ongoing health problems other than hypothyroidism and take levothyroxine 112mcg. I have had diarrhea/ loose stools for 4 days with some looseness of the stool for several weeks before that. Should I take loperamide hydrochloride 2mg tablet. And do I get in to see PCP asap?
