How Can Frequent Diarrhoea And Blood In Stool Be Treated?

My mom recently had blood in her stool. She has also been experiencing diarrhea 3-4 times a day. She had blood work and a stool sample done last month, but was told everything was fine. I disagree. What is her next step for healing. She is 85 and in very good health. Thank you.

I understand your concern.
Passing of loose stools accompanied with blood appears to be as a result of 'intestinal amoebiasis'.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Administer her course of Tablet. Secnidazole 1000 mg as single dose.
2. Keep her well hydrated by administering good quantity of liquids like water, oral re-hydration solution (ORS), fresh fruit juices and tender coconut water.
By adopting above measures, she should be able to overcome the problem.

Frequent passing of loose stools accompanied with blood appears to be as a result of 'intestinal amoebiasis'.

Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Administer her course of Tablet. Secnidazole 1000 mg as single dose.
2. Keep her well hydrated by administering good quantity of liquids like water, oral re-hydration solution (ORS), fresh fruit juices and tender coconut water.
3. Let her take soft and easily digestible food till the recovery sets in.

By adopting above measures, she should be able to overcome the problem.
