How Can Pain Around The Hips And Knees Be Treated?

Phebalith on my femor, with a hemangeome,it s been extremely painful. It had been mistaken at first for cancer. I just started physical therapy. Doctors say surger not an option because I could bleed out&they didn t do biopsy to be 100% sure no cancer because I could bleed out because of the hemangeome that starts from my hip wraps around my femor goes behind my knee and in front of my knee. Any ideas for pain? Is thing going to keep getting bigger & more painful

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult an orthopedician and get an MRI done to rule out possible neurological causes.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Gabapentin for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
