How Can Urinary Incontinence Be Treated?

I can t seem to control my bladder as well as I did before, I now have the urgency & frequency to go. Although it does hurt to pee, only during the last bits of it, other than that I don t feel any other pain or problem. I m worried because this morning, I saw a few drops of blood but that was all. I don t have a fever either. This started last Sat. and it s already Wed., I drank alot of water since then. Things to know: I have had sex actively, same partner, no other experiences for us both I m a female. Currently only in HS so I m worried it might be an sti instead of a uti :( I need answers and im scared to go to the hospital because my parents might find out.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests urinary infection secondary to sexually transmitted infection giving cystitis and blood after urination with incontinence.

* I strongly recommend to get a urine microscopy with your PCP for further immediate care.

* Till that time, please avoid any type of vaginal sex.

Wish this information will help you.
Do feel free to ask further doubts.
