I have a tscore of -2.1 in my spine but the score for the bilateral hip scan was-0.5 how can you have such bone loss in one spot and not everywhere?

Bony distribution varies in the body and shall not be uniform throughout the body. Bone density is related to the specific sites, for example it shall be more in weight bearing bones and less in other bones. For eg, it shall be more in the leg bones compared to bones in the hand.
