Hi,

Chickenpox in children is a self-limiting infection. Usually, children can spread the infection to others until two days after the onset of rash.

They become less contagious once the rash heals and forms scab. Your child can attend school once the rashes are healed.

If any immunocompromised patients or pregnant women were exposed, they need to be treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
