How Long Should Levofloxacin Tablets Be Taken?
sir,i am a male 62.past history.GERD,HTN om medication.h pylori negative.since last 3 days passing RBS and TLC in urine with pyrexia.dr advised me tab levofloxacin 500 my bd.can u tell me how many days i should use.i have already used for 3 days.thanks

In my clinic we suggest levofloxacin for 5 to 7 days depending on the severity of illness.We usually prescribe the drug for five days and advice patients to come for a review on fifth day,if they have signs of infection we might extend the course for further couple of days.
I suggest you to follow your physician's advice,you can take the pill for five days and consult the treating physician for follow up.
