Hello.Prolonged use of proton pump inhibitors drugs (Pantoprazole, Lansoprazole ...) is justified only when there are pathologies as Reflux esophagitis, Barrett's esophagus or when the patient takes medication such as aspirin or blood thinners.
Prolonged use of pantoprazole, lansoprazole has .. adverse effects.
If you do not suffer these pathologies or not are taking this medication,go to your doctor to replace Pantoprazole by a less potent antiacid as Ranitidine.
I wish you good health.
