How Long Will It Take To Recover From Knee Operation ?

Hi my name is Merima. My father recently had a knee operation because he had pyoarthros genus dex staphylococcus aureus ulcus bulbi duodeni he also has dyabetis. I wanted to know how long the recovery is (month or two), and what is for him the best things to do, can you give me some advices?

Hi. Staphylococcus infection in a diabetic might take a long time to heal. You should be careful to keep the wound clean and monitor the blood sugar regularly to keep it in check....higher sugar levels are not good, the anti diabetic medications would need dose adjustment. General principle is when sick dose increases. I think a routine has been suggested by your surgeon for change of the dressings.
