How Long Will Vomiting In A Child Last If Having Fever, Congestion And Swollen Tonsils?

I carried my 9 year old to doc Friday.. She had fever, started throwing up, swollen glands and now stuffy nose... Fever is not as high...but still had real bad head congestion and throwing up even on amoxicillion. Giving her bland diet and pedia pops.. Her tonsils were swollen but she says she does not have sore throat.. How long does this throwing up last

Hello dear,welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
If fever is coming down, need not worry.Vomiting can be managed by simple antiemetics domperidone. Also have food and drinks in small frequent feeds.
If fever is persisting,we have to think of another antibiotic, after looking for other causes like urine infection etc.Your doctor will guide you.
Thank you
