How Should Meftal-P Be Administered To An Infant With High Fever?
My son is 9.5 months old. Dr has prescribed him calpol and meftal p( in case of high fever). He had temperature of 103 in afternoon. We gave him meftal now its repeating in 3 to 3.5 hrs. I had given him calpol at 4:55 and meftal at 8:38. What should I do if fever repeats again within 4 hrs
You should stay giving paracetamol to him and if fever persist or any other symptom is associated you should consult again for another revision or complementary tests.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mariana Josefina Sanchez, Pediatrician
