How Should Stomach Pain, Vomiting, Flatulence With Loose Stools Be Treated?
Hi Doctor , I took some outside food and was involved in bus journey. Early in the morning I have vomited the food and my stomach was totally swollen. On the next day I suffered severe stomach pain on inner left part. I took Omeprazole Tabs for healing from excessive gas production as per my frnds prescription who is doind MBBS course. Its been ten days now I had some soda last night and now excessive gas is priduced with loose stools . Please help
After reading your post, it seems that you might be having infection of the gastrointestinal tract and needs medical management. I would suggest that you could get your stool tested for the same.
I would advise that you should continue with the Omeprazole 40 mg once a day before meals along with a probiotic. You may need an antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin along with Metronidazole if the reports suggest infection.
Eat light meals prepared under hygienic conditions. Also take care of your hydration.
