How To Cure Pain In Stomach After Having A Trigger Point Injection?
I had a trigger point injection in my stomach on Tuesday night. It is now Friday night and I have more pain. I am 37 years old, I weigh 210 lbs. I cannot bend down properly to pick anything up without going down sideways. Ic an't sleep at night or lie on the side that was injected (lower left side of my stomach). I have pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, endomettriosis, and possibly still PID. Do I need to go back to my doctor? Or should I wait until Monday? I took Tylenol 3 for pain but am having problems sleeping.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The underlying cause of the pain is matter of concern and it could be due to some colic and it may be renal colic, biliary colic.
Other causes could also be there because abdomen cavity contains many organs, if the pain is sever or continue then you have to see the doctor, and you can not wait any longer.
Sometime, it could be serious condition and just to avoid any emergency, better to see the doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
