I feel pressure or aches in the side of my head I always felt like it was a tumor how it always pulsate now in then but I figure it must be anxiety. Probably mixed with sinus problems. I always feel pressure in my cheeks bone and ear.
Psychiatrist Dr. Keerthish Shetty's  Response
Hello Cesar,

Physical symptoms are very common in anxiety disorders, sometimes more common than anxiety itself. The hallmark of such physical symptoms is that they cannot be explained on the basis of our medical knowledge (medically unexplained).

A tumor anywhere in the body (especially brain) will be associated with a number of other problems related to that particular brain region. Therefore, your apprehension that it might be a tumor (even with a normal CT scan) is more a part of anxiety problem.

Consult your psychiatrist and discuss your concerns with him. A minor change in anti anxiety medication and a lifestyle modification to minimise your stress levels can help you overcome your problems. All the best.
