How To Heal Itchy Neck Which Is Antihistamine Resistant?

i had a viral infection for 3 weeks during which time my kidneys stopped working for 2 days, i got very bloated. i hadnt been eating due to nausea and was drinking 2 much water which led to low sodium levels.since the infection left i have an itchy neck without rash, not really responding to antihystamines?

Hi,


You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease.
You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
Avoid wearing any king of artificial jewellery over the neck.

You might need to apply a topical steroid cream over the affected area twice a day for few days.
Take some oral antihistamines along.
See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy.
You might need a course of oral steroids.
