How To Overcome The Problem Of Gas After Eating Anything?

I am having gas after eating anything
The gas is getting passed by both ways.
I do not have acidity.
I have found that I feel better when I eat chickpea.
The problem mildly started since 3 yeras ago.
The problem severely started since 1.5 yrs.
A year ago when I was also having acidity I tried some medicines but none of them worked. Finally I was prescribed Ganaton Total which really helped me.
Ganataon helped me with acidity but not with gas fully but I became quite good.
I used to had pain in left chest for gas but since 2 months it is not there.
Since last 2 weeks I am having a bit discomfort in my left abdomen but when gas is passed it goes away. But again comes.
I have done USG of upper abdomen and nothing found.
I cant take milk related things.

Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM).

Excess gas usually occurs because food stay for a longer period of time then usual and bacteria present over there try to digest them and produce a foul smell gas which comes out during burps or flatus

What you all have to do is:
1. Do regular aerobic exercise at least 30 minutes / day
2. If you are obese or overweight then you should reduce your weight again by exercise and low caloric diet
3. Wear loose clothes
4.Avoid dairy products
5. Avoid carbonated drinks, wine or beer
6.Avoid smoking if you do
7. take black tea and add cardamom and ginger to it and take them with meals
8. Don't forget to close mouth while chewing food
9.Eat slowly
10. Take a proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazole along with a prokinetic agent like itopride
11. Also take tablet Gasex by Himalaya company an ayurvedic preparation which I found very useful in my patients
12. Take a course of probiotic

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer that too. Remain in touch and get-well soon.
