How To Recover From The Fever?
my son developed high grade fever on four days back and a blood sample showed MP negative and TLC 11100.He was initially put on chloroquine and when the fever didnt subside after 2 days of medication he was prescribed AXONE-0 DT and junior lanzol as he was vomiting also.yesterday his fever came down to 100 degree fahrenheit but today morning agai it has shot up to 104.what do we do now?my son is 8 yrs old weighing 23 kg and otherwise very active.his Hb is 12 as of now and neutrophylls are 83.

Hi,
It seems that he might be having severe bacterial infection giving rise high WBC resulting having high fever.
As now antibiotic medicine started, within 2-3 days his fever will be alright with control of infection.
Meanwhile give paracetamol medicine for fever as and when required.
Give plenty of water and juices and keep him well hydrated.
Give light diet.
Ok and take care.
