How To Test If The Pain In The Hand, Wrist And Fingers Are Nerve Related?

I had a nerve conduction study done on my left arm and wrist... he said my nerve at the elbow was moderate to severe.. at the time I was just having middle finger to my little finger going numb a lot. I am now experiencing severe pain just distal of my wrist in my hand.. is this a sign that is is getting worse or could something else be going on?

Hi,

You can consult a neurologist and plan for a nerve conduction study and check whether the pain is related to nerve or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
