How To Treat A Swollen Parotid Gland Resulting To Rashes?

My partoid gland is swollen on the left side of my face, there is a slight rash on that side on the cheeks as well. Started out as itchy white heads and turned to small black scabs. Just prior to this had a bad onset of bacterial vaginosis. What could it be? Saw a doc today and she took a blood sample and said she d give me an anti biotic. Had thyroid surgery a few months ago, it was removed and had RAI.
