How To Treat Arthritis?

foot pain
I am a 49 yr. old mother of 3, and have arthritis along with severe carpel tunnel in both hands.
I also frequently suffer from migraines and have been going through menopause for about 3 years now. Now if thats not enough, I have been having very sharp pains in my feet! Sometimes in curve just below the ball on the bottom, & then there havei been days nonstop of pain in one if my heels.
What do you believe it could be?
My mother has diabetes & fibromialgia. (spelling?)
I am looking forward to your responce.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case and reports

Canal stenosis leads to burning/numb sensation and pain in your back and leg.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
Epidural steroid shot can help.

If there is no relief with all conservative measures then decompression with fusion or disc replacement can be done.

Diabetes and fibromyalgia may aggravate pain.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
