How To Treat Diarrhea?

My Child had suffered dirraoeh lasting around 15 days, the doctor siad it was viral and accompanied by Latose intolerace, he was fine in around ten days once he was given a lactose free diet, however for the last three days he is getting hard stools which are yellow and black in some parts.
