I had a skin cancer removed in October and since then my lower legs are very dry and a rash and flaking began. I have been using Cortizone which helps the itch but what topical lotion would help the dry flaky lower legs?I am 70 and live in the mountains

Hi,

It may be acquired ichthyosis.

Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would recommend you to take long course of vitamin A and vitamin E cap.

Apply moisturiser like liq parrafin containing cream on the affected areas. Keep the skin moist. Avoid soap for bathing.

Hope this helps.
