Is laproscopy or open surgery better? 2. which is safe -- ? 3. Will it re occur or can I lead a normal active life. Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Surgery is the only treatment option for a hernia.

Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated.

You can opt for laparoscopic repair as it has got the best results and recurrence rate is low.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
